Traditional Grant Application & Funding Procedure
- Requests for applications will be accepted June 1 through Sept. 30. Please mail requests to:

Our grant application is not available to download, as it is a triplicate form. Additionally, we verify your 5013C status prior to forwarding you an application. - Completed applications (in triplicate) must be postmarked by October 15, 2009. We cannot send applications or receive completed applications by e-mail or fax.
- Upon receipt of the completed application, your request will be referred to a member of our Allocations Committee for review. A Committee person will arrange to visit your agency to discuss your programs with you and a member of your Board, if possible. The visit will take place in December, January or February 2009-2010, and will assist our Allocation Committee with its final review.
- Decisions concerning grants will be made in March 2010, and agencies will be notified as soon as possible. Grants must be used within one year of the date of issue and are given on a one-year basis only. A financial accounting, with appropriate receipts showing how the grant was used, must be submitted by March 1, 2011. If the total amount of the grant is not used, your agency must contact The Christmas Shop Foundation Allocations Chairman for further instructions.
- Non-profit organizations are required to submit a new application annually.
Grant Application
The Christmas Shop Foundation welcomes requests from "established" non-profit organizations for the funding of specific charitable, cultural or educational needs or programs which enhance the quality of life in the State of Delaware.
Please note:
The Christmas Shop Foundation does not fund capital drives, on-going expenses such as heat, salaries or other administrative expenses.
Please carefully review the Application/Funding Procedure (on the left) for the Traditional Grants, including the important dates involved in the application process. Grants are based on revenue raised at each year's event.
